It's Raining

Summer seems over, it's cold and raining here on Atley Hill. Just finished another shift, and sat waiting to start another tonight.

We braved the rain yesterday, and rode over to Northallerton. We picked up a book about living and working in Spain, to check out what logistics are involved in moving over there. Language is the main thing, so we need to look into that. I've always wanted to learn Spanish anyway, so this is a good opportunity to do it.

We may not end up in Spain, but at least this is the first step towards doing something about living in a different country. We really truly have had enough of this country, it doesn't hold anything anymore. And the prospect of spending a winter here is so depressing.

Anyway, at least we have the time away to look forward to, and can make plans, e.g. TEFL and Spainish classes, to get us through.
